We had a challenging situation, a large Copper beach tree was on the corner of three neighbours, and it was pushing over a fence . After discussions with my two neighbours, we got agreement from the tree owner to remove the tree. I took up the job of coordinating the removal having to work with the tree owner and the other neighbour, after requesting quotes from a number of arborists, of which Honest Tree Work was one. Instantly they stood out from the rest, their quote was prompt and comprehensive and gave me all the information to take to my neighbours.
They made the whole process which could have been complicated very simple. Getting agreement to go ahead with Honest Tree work was easy.
The actual removal was great given the fence was delicate and this was a large tree , the process of removal was brilliant, and very professional, and all care was taken not to damage the fence further, in fact nothing came remotely close to the fence. The clean-up was comprehensive and professional, leaving no sign of the tree. The tree owner was delighted with the removal and the clean up .

About Me, the owner
MY NAME IS jeremy
When I was introduced to arboriculture, I could not quite believe climbing trees and caring for them was a paid job, and not just a fun activity everyone would want to practice on their weekend. I had caught the bug.
I gained my Diploma of Arboriculture in Melbourne while working at respected companies, before developing my abilities further as a contract climber. During this time, I was able to work with world-class arborists, engaging with specialist crane work, fine pruning of huge protected trees, maintaining historic properties in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, installing habitat and fauna crossings for native critters, and even rescuing the occasional Koala.
After returning to Hamilton in 2018, alongside running Honest Tree Work, I have provided specialist contract climbing services to other local Arboricultural businesses, assisting with the more difficult aspects of tree-climbing work. I have been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects, including Crane and Helicopter work, Seed collection in remote areas, maintenance of protected trees, and ecological projects that are preserving our native bush.
To this day, I still compete as a climbing arborist just as I did when I began my training all those years ago. I have won the New Zealand Tree Climbing Championship three times, and have placed 2nd and 6th at the International Tree Climbing Championships in recent years. It is always an honour to wear the Silver Fern as a climbing arborist internationally.
