About Me, the owner
MY NAME IS jeremy
When I was introduced to the great craft that is arboriculture, I could not quite believe climbing trees and caring for them was a paid job, and not just a fun activity everyone would want to practice on their weekend. I had caught the bug.
I gained my Diploma of Arboriculture in Melbourne, training under skilled arborists at respected companies, before developing my abilities further as a contract climber. During this time, I was able to work with world-class arborists, gaining valuable experience. From specialist crane work, fine pruning of huge protected trees, maintaining historic properties in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, installing habitat and fauna crossings for native critters, and even rescuing the occasional Koala.
Back in my home town of Hamilton, I have continued to work alongside respected businesses as a contract climber, and have even been lucky enough to work on ecological projects that are protecting our native bush.
When Honest Tree Work was offered to me by Elliot, who was moving with his family to France, I was honoured to continue the reputation that he has built:

To this day, I still compete as a climbing arborist just as I did when I began my training all those years ago. I have had some great successes over the years, and my national standings have given me the opportunity to wear the Silver Fern as a climbing arborist internationally.
