Tree Pruning

Fortunately, Honest Tree Work's team members are experts when it comes to pruning trees. We know how to achieve results such as light penetration, aeration, boundary and structure clearance. We can reduce risk through pruning by removing dead wood, defects and even reducing weight on specific tree limbs. Our pruning is done professionally with aesthetics and tree health in mind. Correct pruning is what gives lasting results and does not lead to tree failures. Even your young trees will not be forgotten, with 'formative' pruning you can ensure better mature trees and reduce the future need for work.

The best option for the tree was a thorough formative prune, and a gentle reduction to shape and balance the canopy.

Tree Transplanting

Tree transplanting is a great way to have an instant large tree without waiting years to grow one. If you want to keep a large tree and maybe have it moved, it can be done. We would love for you to call Honest Tree Work to discuss the options and the best season to transplant in.

 Tree Supports

Tree support systems are ways to retain trees that otherwise would possibly be removed. Do you have trees that you love and want to keep, but are not sure if they are safe? We can use cables or ropes to secure limbs in the case of their failure.

 Hedge Trimming

When it comes to hedges, we love to see a sharp clean line. We are fussy and fast enough to give you a brilliant looking hedge at a reasonable cost. Whether you want a single shape or a long straight hedge-line, we have the tools and experience to do it.

Tree Removals

Removing trees can be anywhere on the scale of difficulty. Honest Tree Work can do it all. We are highly skilled tree climbers and can control the removal of every piece of tree to come down if that is the requirement. Efficiency is the key to a safe, quick and enjoyable job. Honest Tree Work is that plus a brilliant clean up!

At Honest Tree Work we are expert tree fellers. We use an array of felling aids to make sure our 'fells' are calculated and precise. If we have enough space, felling at ground level can be a safe and fast way to cut a tree down.

Chipping

Organic mulch: good for the garden and great for your trees.

Organic mulch: good for the garden and great for your trees.

If you have woody garden waste to chip, we can do it. Chippers turn woody branches and foliage into a great natural mulch for your garden. This mulch retains moisture in the soil and helps suppress weeds all the while giving nutrients back into the soil. Of course if you do not desire mulch, we will take it away.

Planting

Planting trees is a wonderful way to beautify an area. Trees can provide shelter, shade, fruit, flowers and along with privacy, they can even reduce noise! Arborists know their trees and therefore can advise you on what to plant and where. Many factors play a part in deciding what to plant ; importantly your requirements, and equally important is the site conditions and surroundings. Once we have a tree in mind, we can source good stock and with the best technique, plant it.
